Flash Photography Basic Concepts
1. Every Flash photograph is two exposures in one.
2. Fill flash can be used when subject is backlit or side lit to eliminate silhouettes or shadows.
3. Flash exposure is not affected by shutter speed
4. Flash illumination is dramatically affected by distance
5. Your camera measures ambient light and flash illumination separately.
6. With automatic flash metering, the flash illumination is measured after the shutter button is pressed, and the flash output is adjusted accordingly.
7. Every SLR camera with a mechanical shutter box has a maximum flash sync shutter speed.
8. Harsh lighting, washed out subjects and red eye can be eliminated by using diffusers and light bouncing.
9. It is possible to change the order of when the flash fires using "Rear Curtain Sync"
10. Removing the flash from the top of the camera helps eliminate red eye and unflattering shadows.

Peer Review Free Shoot
http://joshcommercialphoto.blogspot.com/2015/02/free-shoot.html
1. Your free shoot is great man. Going to start off by just saying that every photo you took for your free shoot is very good and catches my eye.
1. My favorite picture haas got to be either the graffiti lady or the shoe. Probably the shoe because the backdrop is great i love the buildings and you totally balled the rule of thirds just a great photo.
2. My least favorites is of the gate not because its bad because i still really like this picture i just feel like it should have a subject like something you are trying to show us or have us see. But the photo is taken well just missing something i feel like.
3. You have talent and I can see this in your photographs. You have a good eye and nice ideas and set ups for your photographs. I find your photos grab my eye and that is very good they interest me and look pretty.
4. Take more photos of people. You great at scenes and such but id like to see more people.

1. My favorite picture is the drop from the six stations. Totally baller. Captures the action and the ripples perfectly. Great mix of colors as well really grabs the viewers eye.
2. My least favorite picture from the six stations is the black acrylic not because its bad but because it has potential and you could have done it better. Maybe lowering the camera and capturing more the reflection.
3. You have a very good eye. You see a photographic opportunity and a picture in almost anything you see and that is evident as you can make any mundane event a great picture that is great.
4. You could work on maybe looking for faces more but I'm not sure you ball it everyday so do you. keep taking pictures to keep ballin the craft.
