1. (top photo) I chose this photo because its lighting is baller and it pops out. I like the colors the orange and shadow and darkness is super beautiful. I also like the sky perfect time of day as the sun is going down and theres a clear sense of the time changing, it gives the picture a mood. The night is setting in, its very cool. Just all around great picture on almost every aspect.
1. (bottom photo) I chose this picture for a number of reasons. The first main reason is that its got a good viewpoint and is unique and offers a fresh and super eye catching view. I like the subject as well super pretty the way the dam meets with nature. Man made and nature interacting. The mountains and water also look super pretty and eye pleasing. The sun hits the mountains in a great way which gives shadows and adds layers of texture. All around great picture with great depth and beauty.
2. (top photo) As i said before the time is a very interesting time in this photo as its a time of change. Day is changing to night and it creates a great color as theres a darkness and shadow that comes up with orange lights starting to pop out and light up the darkness also the sky looks beautiful because of this. Great time to shoot when light is starting to change.
2. (bottom photo) Lighting is good in this photo as it creates interesting shadows also pretty how it reflects and brightens up the water.
3. (top photo) This photo doesn't have the most interesting angle but it is a little better than normal because its taken from high up like on a rooftop. Its pretty straight on and normal but i like that its high up shooting down on the city while it also catches the beauty of the sky.
3. (bottom photo) This photo has a great viewpoint its very unique and creates great depth to the photo. I like how it is shooting down against the wall of the dam and it captures the dam and nature really prettily. Viewpoint definatley makes this photo ten times better as its unique and done very well.
4. (top photo) The composition is pretty wide and normal in this photo. He has a lot of stuff in the photo and balances the city well with the sky.
4. (bottom photo) Composition in this is very good unique but also follows rule of thirds in a sense as the dam makes up the photo and the water and mountains r angled to the third side. Also good composition of shooting downward.
